  • What is Subject Verb Agreement for Class 4 Students?

Subject-verb agreement is a fundamental rule in grammar that states that the verb in a sentence must agree with its subject in number. This means that if the subject is singular, the verb must also be singular, and if the subject is plural, the verb must also be plural.

Here are some examples of subject-verb agreement:

    • Singular subject + singular verb: The cat sits on the mat.
    • Plural subject + plural verb: The cats sit on the mat.
